Alteer Office• Fully automated build processes using Team Foundation Server, created build infrastructure from the ground up, and instituted build management policies to better channel the development process.• Created a debug symbol server to greatly increase the speed and productivity of development staff and allow for first class support for future versions of Alteer Office.• Assigned to rapidly implement the Clinical Alerts feature in Alteer Office to meet certification requirements and help provide a highly marketable product offering.• Implemented robust image conversion tool that processes through, and exports, hundreds of thousands of patient records and documents into a storage medium that can be given to customers upon request.• Introduced a Team Foundation Proxy Server that allows developers to significantly reduce the time spent downloading source code thereby providing them with more time to produce a quality product.• Evaluated numerous third party vendors that provided fax-over-IP feature sets to ensure they met both technical and business requirements.Tasks and Duties• Continually trained other developers in modern and advanced debugging techniques to improve overall product quality and reduce overhead costs associated with quality assurance. o Trained developers through one-on-one and group sessions for the entire local development team on an as needed basis.• Provided support to other developers for the source code management system, Team Foundation Server, and acted as the source code control administrator to ensure other teams followed best practices.• Proactively code reviewed check-ins made by outsourcing vendors, provided feedback, and ensuring that they met Alteer Office coding standards.

Kofax Capture 10.0• Performed research on converting Kofax Capture to a modern Microsoft Office 2007 style user experience.• Used documented findings to work with a distributed development team, and help them begin working on the next iteration of the product.Kofax Capture 9.0• Technical lead for high profile, high value features in Kofax Capture 9.0: o Augmented Capture’s public VB6 API for dynamically moving documents that provides customers the ability to streamline business processes. o Created a C# service that automatically pulls down new and updated customization to a Capture workstation.• Modified a large C++ application to handle multiple users and database concurrency, where only single instances had been allowed before.• Ported legacy VB6 modules into VB .NET.Kofax Front Office Server• Temporarily moved to an existing distributed development team programming in Java so that it could release its product on time.Kofax Capture 8.0• Added disaster recovery capabilities to a distributed capture application, Kofax Capture Network Server, to provide a robust and reliable product offering. o Used C#, C++, and VB6 to provide customers with synchronous file replication capability, the ability for remote sites to send work to multiple central sites, and robust file upload capabilities.• Wrote research, engineering requirements, functional behavior, and design documents for several small and medium sized features.• Wrote and presented training material to the Tech Support team prior to Kofax Capture 8.0's launch.Ascent Capture 7.5• Converted VB6 sample code to VB .NET to provide customers with more modern examples of Capture’s public APIs.• Assigned to implement a C# application that would streamline Capture’s installation and deployment process, and enhance its compatibility with virtualization technologies.• Wrote an installation document for IBM’s Websphere 6.0 web application server for both Windows and Solaris based operating systems.
