As the Head of Pharmacy at the University of Newcastle, I lead a team of dedicated and talented academics and researchers who are committed to advancing pharmacy practice and improving health outcomes. With over 20 years of experience in pharmacy education and research, I have developed and delivered innovative and evidence-based curricula, authored two textbooks, and published multiple peer-reviewed papers in various fields of pharmacology and pharmacy practice.My passion is to support and empower pharmacists to provide high-quality, patient-centred, and cost-effective care. I have forged strong links with local and national pharmacy associations, hospital pharmacists, and the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Pharmaco-economics and Rational Therapy. I have also been invited to teach and present at state, national, and international levels, sharing my expertise and insights on clinical pharmacology, community pharmacy, and evidence-based medicine.
