Why? A lack of financial awareness.It would have gotten worse, but I was fortunate enough to be introduced to some key financial ideas which helped me get the debt under control and inspired me to write two books on Personal Finance ("Seeds" and "Don't Do What I Did") to help others avoid some of the mistakes I'd made. I've also worked in Finance for 20+ years, including overseeing the finances for a global software company with offices in London, Manchester, New York, LA, Guadalajara, Mumbai and Manilla.I enjoy several aspects of media too, from spoken word/poetry, voiceovers, radio presenting and more.
