I am a dual degree engineer, with a Bachelors in Mechanical and a Masters in Electrical Engineering. I am a very resourceful and creative individual, who is seasoned in various areas of expertise. In regards to my work ethic, my previous supervisor indicated that I “like to challenge the status quo”. I am passionate about finding ways to optimize processes and make them more efficient, and bringing this to fruition is like second nature to me. In my last role, constant improvement of systems was the norm, as we developed research devices that required me to continuously find solutions for any failure modes that might arise. I crave these types of challenges and solving problems, they motivate me to keep learning as I am always curious to understand how things work. Much of my success comes from my inquisitive, creative, and analytical personality. I am always taking on new challenges and providing novel solutions. For example, I created a procedure to compensate for thermal expansion and CVD coating with a 95% accuracy in our line of products. As the first Quality Engineer in GMSI I had to teach myself how to operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine. Due to my ability to quickly learn new subjects, I mastered the software in a short period of time, including writing code in SQL for OPENDMIS. As an effective problem solver, I have become an essential team member who is persistent, gets the job done, and a reliable colleague who others can confide in.
