Responsible for photographers, a copyright clearance specialist and oversight of project conservation. Additionally, the role manages staff responsible for cataloguing and imaging of WWI collections. The roles involves input into digital asset management, digital preservation and workflow within large-scale DAMS systems. The role has oversight of imaging across all collections staff including the upgrade of a suite for the production of micro and macro type specimen imaging into a world-class facility. It has established a new world-class purpose-built imaging studio. It includes significant procurement and tender management and budget control. This role is also leading work on system design and workflows within a large-scale corporate IT environment.The project is part of the transformative Future Museum strategy for AWMM is getting collections ready for use onsite, offsite and online. It has involved recruitment of high-performing digital-first team and the establishment of a culture setting new levels of engagement, collaboration and productivity. Show less
