• Litigated administrative complaints against individuals and entities alleged to have committed unfair or deceptive practices in violation of the Packers and Stockyards Act (PSA), and the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA).• Served as Presiding Officer in reparation claims brought by private parties against respondents subject to either the PSA or the PACA, making rulings on all motions and objections, and drafting a final decision for approval by the Judicial Officer.• Advised agency clients on application of regulations, and evaluated agency correspondence to regulated entities for legal sufficiency.• Assisted in the investigation and evaluation of anti-competitive behavior and unfair trade practices in the beef, pork and poultry industries.

• Litigated numerous civil trials, some of which resulted in verdicts of over one million dollars in favor of my clients. • Researched and drafted a Petition for Certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court, and numerous appellate briefs in several U.S. Courts of Appeals and the D.C. Court of Appeals, in matters regarding rulings of the Federal Railroad Administration.• Represented various railroad worker unions with respect to safety and employment issues.
