Working 0500-1700, I am responsible for assisting dispatch and monitoring drivers, advising operations supervisors on efficiency issues while suggesting workable solutions. Advising supervisors of DOT hours of service issues, this position requires suggesting workable solutions to maintain efficiencies for our customers. I am one of the dispatch supervisors to update 3PL websites, notifying them of any possible issues. I notify supervisor of possible profitable open bids on the 3PL websites. I am responsible for planning city operations pickups and deliveries, while helping maintain an effective dock. Contacting road service in case of breakdowns - and advising supervisors and clients of any issues (and our solutions) - is also an important part of my position.

This is an asset based logistics company with over 130 drivers (including teams and solos). They have terminals in El Paso, Laredo and Mission TX, Troy MI and Tonawanda NY. Received letters of interest and (with deceased owner's assistant) personally interviewed potential buyers. Reviewed purchase proposals, and finalized the sale prior to December 15, 2011. As of February, 2015, the deceased owner's assistant is still employed with the new owner, and the client retention rate is above 75%.
