Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Purdue University with an intended major in Mechanical Engineering. I am an engineering student with a desire to learn and a passion for overcoming challenges. Seeking an undergraduate research position or internship opportunities in the field of Mechanical Engineering.My passion for engineering grew with my interest and involvement in classic cars. I gained first-hand knowledge in the mechanical and structural workings of engines, transmissions, and automotive systems. All the while developing a multitude of engineering solutions while acting as an advisor and mentor toward others interested in assisting.This passion transitioned into direct engineering-related experience as I served as the Chief Engineer of our school's rockets program, managing an engineering team from initial inception to a final launch in Houston TX. I was tasked with designing, constructing, and launching a rocket capable of transonic flight while staying under an altitude of 13,000 ft. Following a successful launch, I constructed a mathematical flight profile predicting flight mechanics and presented findings to a panel of NASA Engineers.
