Partnered with the Sonder’s real estate team to negotiate and draft operating leases for the management and operation of hotel and multifamily hospitality projects and evaluate and manage risk for asset operations for new and existing hotel/hospitality operations; provided strategic guidance to asset operations teams and revenue teams; collaborated with real estate teams to achieve asset optimization through lease restructuring opportunities; point of contact for legal issues pertaining to extended stays

Director with leading commercial real estate advisory firm (a subsidiary of Newmark) which provides a fully integrated platform of services to national retail companies, including real estate disposition, lease restructuring, lease renewals and valuations. Clients include some of the nation's leading supermarkets, drug stores, department stores, home furnishings companies, banks, restaurants, and medical office platforms. Handled a deluge of lease restructuring transactions during the pandemic.

Returned to commercial real estate lawyering, negotiating and drafting retail leases for Hudson Yards - to assist the developer (Related) achieve grand opening.

Grind was one of the OGs of coworking: a pioneering coworking/flexspace platform startup that grew from 1 space to 5 locations in New York and Chicago. Grind served freelancers, entrepreneurs, mobile professionals and fledgling companies a flexible work platform. Grind’s workspaces were designed to fuel the leap from traditional corporate work environments to “the future of work” by offering not only places to work, but also communities of entrepreneurs and small teams who shared advice and expertise to enhance and spark opportunities. Led a seed stage round for expansion capital.
