Senior litigation associate. Worked with head of litigation and equity partners on the largest commercial and securities cases handled by the firm. Took and defended numerous depositions, conducted oral arguments in various trial and appellate courts, and recruited new clients. Extensive pro bono experience included successful argument against the United States Department of Homeland Security on behalf of a Nepalese refugee and assistance in the appeal of an Alabama death row inmate. Significant commercial matters included: Enron-related litigation on behalf of six international lending institutions where drafted motions and pleadings and questioned at depositions of, among others, several former members of Enron Board of Directors, head of the British House of Lords and participation in the deposition of former CFO Andrew Fastow; Sprint Communications Corp., LLP, in connection with matters covering such issues as antitrust, Lanham Act allegations, fraud and employment discrimination.
