I am also the acting Chief Learning Officer for the Department, overseeing the training, employee development knowledge management, succession planning, and other talent management programs that equip our employees to successfully carry out our mission to the American people.

I lead a staff of 24 that is primarily responsible for managing all documents prepared by the Department's 19 agencies for the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Agriculture. In addition, I also lead the Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food and Plain Language initiatives and serve as the headquarters liaison to the Northeast Kingdom in Vermont as part of the Great Regions initiative.

I work on the National Flood Insurance Program's Map Modernization program, supporting the IT systems used to update the nation's flood maps.
