Responsible for the hardware/software infrastructure as well as the integration architecture for the entire PeopleSoft FSCM implementation. The team delivered the logical and physical environment architecture leveraging internal data center capacity. The team was responsible for evaluating the OS/DB platform, and preparing the total infrastructure costs over 5 and 10 years. One critical deliverable is the Integration Architecture. The architecture provided the integration patterns, infrastructure, tools, and approaches to building the almost 200+ interfaces.Technology notes: • Responsible for the Integration Architecture between PeopleSoft and all KP systems.• Chief engineer for all infrastructure components including: Platform Selection, core PeopleSoft (PIA) Hardware Architecture (PSD), 3rd Party Integrated Software components, Reporting Infrastructure, etc.• Owner of solutions design and deployment for all KP Legacy Systems integration tooling including: Java APIs, Web Services, Web Applications (QT & CDU), Mainframe COBOL, ETL sync jobs, Infrastructure, etc. • Technical support for approximately 80 applications and over 1000 interfaces.• Responsible for KP PeopleSoft security design and SSO implementation.• Key contributor to RFI, RFP, and contract negotiations early in the project life cycle.• Currently responsible for the Strategy & Performance Engineering, and potential for an MSP deployment.

• Managed SD&C teams chartered to deliver all Medicare reporting (CMS) applications within the National Medicare Finance organization. • Managing these teams, our accomplishments have been the successful deployment of: AccuTraq, DTraq, RDS (Retiree Drug Subsidy), OCI & Working Aged Survey and Medicare Monitoring. • The suite of Medicare projects listed accounts for more than one third of KP’s revenue (approx. $13 Billion). • The SD&C team has earned great respect from our business partners, and often given the highest accolades for the quality of our work. Leveraging my technology background I helped to instantiate many new SD&C practices meant to increase the quality of our output. Most notable of these new processes is the effort around data quality. We have taken the common interface mapping and transformation requirements gathering to a new level of completeness. Provided leadership during and through the implementation of the Internet (Web) at Kaiser Permanente. I was one of the first hired by KPIT when the Internet was just becoming mainstream for KP. I was first chartered to deliver a World class infrastructure to host our primary portal KP.org. Part of my continuous role was the continued evolution of the Web infrastructure including: 3 generations for KP.org, the National Shared Infrastructure, and the Clinical Web Infrastructure. In 2000, my team and I were responsible for the deployment of more than 150 Web applications within Kaiser Permanente. I started the WDG Application Engineering team as the demand for Web development began to peak. The objective for the team was to provide Web engineers for all Web projects within KP. The Web engineers would lead the design of these projects, and ensure their compliance to standards and practices. The team was responsible for dozens of successful development and deployment projects. The engineering team was also responsible for drafting the Web development best practices, development standards, and common code frameworks applied to all Web based projects.Technology notes: Multi-tier Unix architectures: Load balancer (Network Dispatcher), HTTP (IBM Apache), Application Server (WAS), DB (Oracle, UDB, SQL Server).
