Led the initial implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and communicated a clean SOX audit opinion to the Audit Committee each year.

A $100M high-tech manufacturing division of a public company (now Emerson Electronics)Reported to VP of Finance. Responsible for all divisional finance activities including coordinating activities with manufacturing plant in Hong Kong. Major accomplishments include: • Valuation and due diligence on several acquisition candidates from $15M to $50M; closing and integration a $15M manufacturing company. • Developed and implemented a standard cost system resulting in improved visibility into product line profitability. • Developed procedures to automate vouching of intercompany activity that saved costs equivalent to one full-time employee.

A $50M distribution and services organization.Financial head of Philadelphia division of company started by ex-Avery Dennison senior managers. Reported to divisional GM and corporate office CFO. Managed all aspects of accounting and finance, information technology, operations and human resources. Responsible for setting division policies, goals and objectives. Closely managed cash flow and engineered a restructuring which included personnel reductions and tight controls on all spending, improving profits by $1.5M.

Managed financial information for international Packaging and Labels group. Advised division controllers, consolidated results and managed budget and strategic planning process. Managed divestiture of $30M business unit in the U.S. and U.K. Promoted from Manager of Corporate Reporting. Oversaw the worldwide consolidation of 30 business units in eleven countries.
