For over 30 years, I have been involved in all aspects of the information technology industry. I have been an outstanding follower as an individual contributor. Many successes there. I have led sales teams and business strategies as a leader. Many successes there and a few interesting lessons learned especially during the downturns. As a software engineer on a large DoD project in Sunnyvale, CA, I was a lead QA and Test engineer on MVS Mainframe from 1985 to 1988. In 1989, I began doing systems programming and networking for IBM mainframes. IBM's business philosophy under Thomas Watson still holds special meaning today.
