I helped clients in hard-to-abate industries use Validere's oil & gas emissions MRV platform and consulting services to implement their decarbonization initiatives, and supported the company’s expansion into agricultural carbon markets.

I led research for BCarbon, a carbon credit registry and research hub focused on nature-based carbon removals. I wrote soil, forest, and blue carbon protocols, ran the organization’s forest carbon certification program, and helped facilitate the 500+ member BCarbon Stakeholder Working Group.

I leveraged a computational model of the Earth’s oxygen triple-isotope budget to discover a large, previously unrecognized source of biological oxygen consumption in the global ocean, and conducted nitrogen clumped-isotope analyses on seawater samples from Baffin Bay, Canada to study Arctic marine nitrogen cycling.
