• Window Genuine Advantage: This Windows group had a strong need for an experienced BI developer to improve their Business Intelligence reporting.Refactored the Data Warehouse (OLTP), fixed procedures and functions, added performance features.• Produced a very high-performance ETL in SSIS to aggregate Windows and Office installation data that could aggregate 100’s of Millions of rows in minutes.• Architected 3 Cumulative Installation Cubes (OLAP) in SSAS for XP, Vista, and Office installation data to combat piracy and provide valuable, actionable Business Intelligence about buying and usage patterns.• Developed new SSRS reports, updated/fixed existing ones in SSRS and Excel, and helped facilitate the transition to the Cumulative Installation Cubes (OLAP) as data sources for all reporting.• The previous successes led to another challenging project: pulling Windows Telemetry data from SQL Server 2000 (OLTP), converting raw data into a new schema, de-duplicating it, and storing it on a new server (OLTP), which I also built.
