Hired to execute the plan to move payments processing from external payment platforms to internal Amazon Web Services (AWS). This resulted in lower payment processing fees at Amazon as well as offering payments processing through its AWS platform which in the end also created the Amazon Pay business. Managed relationship with Amazon.com's biggest payment partners. Led integration project with American Express.This resulted in reduced processing cost and a better customer interface.As, product manager acted as liaison with business owners for AWS and Amazon Music to understand their payment systems needs. Created documentation for the development team in the payments group to guide their development program and reviewed their technical documents to ensure accuracy with business needs. This work set the foundation for payment services to be used within Amazon’s AWS platform.

Directed the company’s first step into the retail market for their software platform that allowed developers to create customized, multi-channel commerce applications, payment solutions, and integrated retail support systems. Developed go to market plans, built financial models and projections for the retail space and presented those findings to the Executive team. This resulted in the company entering the retail market which increased its value and attractiveness for additional VC investment.

Oversaw strategy for new product development for an e-commerce platform. Managed a team of software architects, developers, channel partners and engaged customers. Directed team that was charged to monetize custom code assets into generic code based products that could be used to expedite multi-channel platform engagements. This process allowed for identifying, packaging and deploying a base set of code at the begin of each new e-commerce implementation. Employed Agile Development Methodologies to expedite processes and build product. Created a base set of functionality that was packaged and used by our consulting teams within 13 months. This allowed for staff efficiencies, faster client delivery dates and greater profitability.
