Technically manage and support UNIT4 Agresso delivered on the UNIT4 cloud, part of a global delivery platform of SaaS offerings, utilizing privately held IaaS’s in Europe, as well as partner-owned IaaS’s in North America and APAC.

Designing hardware solutions for customers taking UNIT4’s Agresso Managed Service offering. This includes server sizing based on surveys and experience in the field. This is based on HP and IBM hardware of which I ensure I keep up to date on.Implementing hardware solutions at customer sites including racking servers, configuring vSphere Hosts with Shared iSCSI Storage. Installing and Configuring O/S, SQL Server, Citrix and Agresso ERP Suite.Ongoing support of customer’s infrastructure on a proactive basis monitoring server and application health via Remote Monitoring Software (Nimsoft and Kaseya). These tools allow us to identify potential performance and availability issues and resolve them before the customer experiences issues.SQL Server Management – Performance monitoring and tuning of customers databases to ensure users get the best possible experience. Backup monitoring to ensure remote and on site back ups are configured and running optimally. Some customers have a DR site and we manage this via Transaction Log Shipping.Design, Implementation and Management of internal application support test servers based on vSphere 5.x leveraging templates to deploy test systems quickly and also remove them again. This has cut down deployment and testing time by nearly 95% internally.
