David Beddow has almost fifty years of experience in broadcasting, satellite, cable and feature film production, technology and management. Mr. Beddow operates his own company, Technology Equity Associates, which provides consulting services in the entertainment and consumer electronics industries. He currently provides consulting services to Paramount Pictures and is CTO of Digiboo, LLC as well as serving on the Bitcentral Board. Previously Mr. Beddow served as CTO of Movielink, LLC owned by Paramount. Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, MGM and NBCUniversal and was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Media Corporation, a Liberty company involved in post-production and studio services. Prior to Ascent, he served as Senior Vice President of Liberty Media Corporation, Senior Vice President of TCI Technology Ventures, Executive Vice President and CTO of TCI, President and CEO of the National Digital Television Center, Inc. (NDTC) and Headend In The Sky (HITS) and Executive Vice President and COO of PRIMESTAR. He held various positions at Communications Satellite Corporation (COMSAT) in Washington, DC, during the 1980s including President of COMSAT Technical Services and President of COMSAT Video Enterprises. He joined Westinghouse Broadcasting and Cable (Group W, now CBS, Inc) in 1968 and served in various positions including Sr. Vice President and General Manager of KYW-TV, Philadelphia, Senior Vice President of Group W Broadcast Operations and Engineering and Executive Vice President GWSC which in partnerships with several other major media companies created The Disney Channel, The Nashville Network, Satellite News Channels (now Headline News) and Home Team Sports (now part of Fox Regional Sports).
