About David Beecham

With over 15 years of experience in research management and development, I am a goal-oriented and strategically minded leader who drives successful grant, research, and industry engagement programs at the national, state, and European levels. I am currently the Regional Director South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania for the National Industry PhD Program at Campus Plus, a leading provider of higher education services and solutions.In this role, I oversee the delivery of the $296 million Federal Government Department of Education’s initiative, which aims to increase industry/university collaborations and foster innovation and skills development. I manage and build relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and funding organisations, and facilitate cross-university collaborations to develop multi-disciplinary teams for large scale research opportunities. I also provide financial stewardship and governance support for the program. I am passionate about creating impact and value through research and innovation, and empowering researchers and industry partners to achieve excellence and growth.
