IBSA Manufacturing is a Skills Service Organisation (SSO) federally funded to provide technical, operational and secretariat support to six ‘manufacturing specific’ Industry Reference Committees in the development and review of their VET qualifications and training packages.As Industry Manager responsible for 2 training packages (Sustainability, and Textiles, Clothing & Footwear), I was responsible for their ongoing maintenance and development including:* Stakeholder Engagement - building strong and effective relationships with diverse industry stakeholders though consultation and collaboration, to ensure the training packages delivered the required industry skills* Project Management – delivering maintenance of existing occupational standards and development of emerging or future skills, including contractor management and standards compliance.

The Future Print AAA initiative was a federally funded project seeking to revamp the apprenticeship model for the Printing Industry, by piloting a competency based progression model (as opposed to the traditional 4 year 'time served' model) for the four Printing Industry trades to create a sustainable training model and blueprint for future training.Project Advisors provided employers with:• Apprentice recruitment, shortlisting and selection assistance• Independent training plan advice, recommendations and review• Apprentice mentoring and employer / supervisor coaching• Transition assistance to a competency based model.
