I develop websites, perform e-marketing (including commerce, social media, Etsy, and eBay), videography, with specialization in documentaries and historical subjects, audio production, Macintosh support, and educational training.

Teach a variety of classes and seminars on internet technologies (e-mail, web browsing, search, social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube), digital imaging, electronic publishing, e-commerce including eBay and Etsy, and Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite applications in a non-credit setting.

Develop and assist MCC faculty and staff in the choice and use of technologies in the classroom, including audio, video, and internet. Serve as resource for the college on technology issues. Teach classes on emerging technologies to faculty and staff. Support Mayland's online student portal (leo.mayland.edu) by administering the site, managing accounts, and assisting in the creation of online classes. Provide support to MCC marketing efforts through the development of video production for cable television and online programming for YouTube (youtube.com/maylandcc). Develop and produce audio for radio and for podcasts. Provide backup staffing for Mayland’s Learning Resources Center.

Responsible for the development and execution of a web design strategy for the entire college, development, server programming, content assistance and consulting services for various departments in developing an online presence. Provide in-service training on web design and Internet technologies to faculty and staff. Assist MCC distance education efforts by producing and editing podcasts, assisting with the development of online classes, and serve as resource person for technologies used in classroom settings. Also responsible for Mayland's digital media projects, including commercials and programming in both audio and video formats. Serve as a team member in the development of print projects for the college, including schedule tabloids, brochures and catalogs (beginning in 2002).

Served as the college's public information officer and chief designer of all printed materials for the college, including class schedules, brochures, catalog, student handbook, etc. Began the MCC video production department with the purchase of camera equipment, computer and non-linear editing software. Created and maintained the MCC website beginning in 1997. From 2000-2002, served as main graphic designer for the college. Relinquished public information officer and print duties as Web and video projects became more numerous in 2002 and job duties were reorganized by the college.

Served as an instructor in the off-campus Organizational Management and Development program, teaching web design, e-commerce and introduction to communication classes from 2002 to 2004. Beginning Fall, 2004 until the present, serve as adjunct faculty in the Communication Arts department, teaching web design, digital imaging and electronic publishing courses in the Bachelor of Arts degree program on the LMC main campus.

Responsible for broadcast operations, including music format design and implementation, local news gathering and reporting, public affairs/community affairs, play-by-play announcing of high school sports, sales, and a daily airshift.
