I am a Deal Advisory Managing Director dedicated to supporting clients by providing buy-side and sell-side Financial Due Diligence services. I work with both private equity and corporate clients, with a particular specialism in international cross-border transactions through my central role on BDO’s International Deal Advisory group.With over 20 years experience as a due diligence specialist, I enjoy the ever changing challenges of a deal environment, working closely with clients and colleagues to play a significant role in helping them achieve their objectives, both on individual transactions and over the longer term. A real sense of satisfaction in helping client succeeds is what drives me in my role. For example, I was introduced to a pharmaceutical group approximately 12 years ago. Since then, I have advised them on over 10 acquisitions of varying sizes all over the world. This helped me to really get to know the client over a number of years/transactions and truly understand their motivations. Leading all of these transactions enabled me to bring consistency of approach and quality, including managing input from a wide range of specialists from across the BDO International network. I am proud to have played a part in my client having achieved over ten fold growth since that initial introduction. I have experience in a wide range of sectors and public markets/IPO work, specialising in particular in the pharmaceutical/life sciences, manufacturing and technology sectors.Outside of work, I am a proud father of two boys and spend my time as their taxi driver, homework assistant and volunteer cricket coach. I am also a keen car enthusiast and enjoy road trips in the English countryside and to The Alps.
