Ironically, my own department faced its end when the startup struggled to integrate our software team, and soon after, COVID hit, leaving me unexpectedly jobless.Yet, the universe works in mysterious ways. Just before this, I’d earned my real estate license to support Tabitha. Little did I know how perfectly real estate would fit my background in helping people avoid pitfalls—this time, guiding families through big life transitions. Real estate, I realized, is about more than property; it’s about people and their stories, whether it's expanding families like mine or individuals navigating new chapters.Clayton, NC, where I’ve lived for over 20 years, became more than just a home. It’s a community I deeply understand, with a family mini-community of my own. Our interests span falconry, mechanics, volleyball, and theater. My journey hasn’t been without challenges: North Carolina’s real estate licensing process is rigorous, and starting a sales career as an introvert seemed counterintuitive.
