Quest Design & Consulting Inc. provides risk consulting services to insurance companies, brokers, and property owners across Canada. We have extensive knowledge of the exposures and risks facing corporations and we offer practical solutions to address these risks, in accordance with internationally-recognized standards.We identify potential risks and loss exposures; evaluate the financial impact of the potential loss; develop recommendations to manage the exposures; provide assistance in the implementation of these recommendations; and monitor results to ensure that the desired objectives were met.We can help with issues relating to property, general liability, product liability, fleet, builder's risk, and product recall insurance coverage.Quest also provides design services for fire protection systems, including sprinklers, standpipe, fire pumps, foam systems, etc. We generate CAD drawings and perform hydraulic calculations using industry-accepted software programs.

Performed loss prevention surveys for a variety of accounts relating to the property, general liability, product liability, and/or fleet insurance coverage. As Canadian Regional Manager for 16 years, supervised loss control activities by both in-house staff and independent contractors. At the peak, managed a staff of 13 employees (11 professional and 2 clerical). In 2005, oversaw a budget of $2.5 million and coordinated an average of 150 surveys per month.

Serviced a cross section of HPR property accounts that were more difficult and technically demanding to service. Conducted risk evaluations to determine loss potential, management interest, support and degree of commitment. Developed systematic action plans to reduce risk potential. Secured management's commitment to a program designed to correct problems and assisted in program implementation. Evaluated account progress, suggesting program modifications as necessary.Maintained a high level of communication with underwriting personnel. Evaluated the adequacy of fire protection systems including sprinklers, fire pumps, reservoirs, gravity tanks, etc.Industries serviced included: pulp and paper, mining, chemical manufacturing, automobile assembly plants, plastic workers, wood workers, metal workers, etc.
