The primary aim of the Applied Architecture function at AXA XL is to apply approved architecture patterns to business use of infrastructure assets - to ensure strategic Engineering excellence. The team works to produce the infrastructure content of high level designs, preliminary assessments, hosting assessments, and internal infrastructure projects.Applied Architecture actively participates and/or presents content in both the Solution Design Authority and Technical Design Authority forums – collaborating with both Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects. The primary objective of the VP, Manager of Global Infrastructure Architecture is to provide both technical leadership and management in the area of Enterprise hardware and software infrastructure design and implementation - primarily in a Windows client-server platform environment. The position requires the management and operation of the Project Engineering team and services.
