As a SME on the Fenergo CLM platform, key focus was to deliver CLM solutions that work embedded within, or in case of Fenergo’s SaaS offering, in conjunction with the clients’ IT landscape whilst adhering to both Fenergo’s and clients’ architecture and best practices.As client onboarding and client lifecycle management is a key component within financial institutions operation and IT landscape, working seamlessly with various client project teams across both functional and technical domains was crucial, not to mention always remaining closely in touch with business stakeholders to identify, analyse, provide guidance, influence and translate business requirements into viable technical solutions. Key responsibilities & experience:Data GovernanceProviding guidance in establishing data governance for data mastered in Fenergo CLM platform as well as working with the clients’ data architects to ensure that data flow between CLM and banks’ other systems meet the clients’ data governance policies.Integration with other domain systems within organisationsCollaboratively designing integration with clients’ multitude of systems, including MDM, IAM, data lakes as well as the integration platform itself, and act as the technical liaison to all the stakeholders (client and internal).Key achievements:During his time with Fenergo, David played an integral role in the delivery of three of the Big Four banks of Australia’s successful CLM solutions that enable the clients to meet compliance by applying KYC/AML measures to their onboarding (and other facets of client lifecycle events) and to do this in an operationally efficient manner.

As a Solution Architect at Datacom, a leading New Zealand IT solutions company, I have been involved in various projects across multiple technical and business domains (telecommunications, insurance & finance) ensuring key business strategy and desired outcomes are translated into technology vision and architecture from the inception of the project through to successful execution and delivery.Some of the key projects that I have been involved include:- Replacement & re-designing of integration platform for Spark, a telecommunications company (see below)- Analytics for customer insights / digital marketing strategy: Engaged in a large transformation programme of work involving the whole ecosystem of a telecommunication company, with the goal to enable the business to better adjust to market changes. Achieving this involved streamlining the business process, and simplifying and rationalising the IT infrastructure and systems, enabling the business to reduce the time to market, and offering improved services to customers. The integration platform was replaced, along with many of the systems central to the organisation. - Data Transformation & Migration: Analysed and designed data migration solution for a finance company that involved large dataset and transformation & validations based on complex business rules.

Engaged in a large transformation programme of work involving the whole ecosystem of a telecommunication company, with the goal to enable the business to better adjust to market changes. Achieving this involved streamlining the business process, and simplifying and rationalising the IT infrastructure and systems, enabling the business to reduce the time to market, and offering improved services to customers. The integration platform was replaced, along with many of the systems central to the organisation. Involved in multiple iterations / streams in this programme of work, designing a new ESB solution using Websphere technology. Employed model-driven design practice, leveraging off, and aligning to the telecommunication industry standards (TMForum’s SID, eTOM and TAM) as close as possible. Led workshops between representatives from other core capability teams as a design lead for several streams of the integration work, such as CRM and various customer-facing channels, billing and rating, and BSS/OSS systems, to determine the payload details (data modelling), and integration pattern within the enterprise context.
