Architect for Cooper Carry’s Retail Specialty Practice Group. Managed an integrated team of architects, interior and graphic designers specializing in the design of all types of retail facilities including department stores, mall shops, main street retail, and restaurants.• Houston Galleria Mall Renovation. Project Manager for tremendously complex, four year, $60 million, 100,000 sq. ft. renovation to the Houston Galleria located in Houston Texas. Converted a two story Lord and Taylor building with five stories of parking into additional retail space for Simon Properties. Conducted all owner- architect- client meetings. Represented Simon Properties in all design and construction coordination with Borders, Kona Grill, Oceanaire Seafood, Del Frisco’s Steakhouse, Gigi’s Asian Bistro, and nine other retail tenants. • Quaker Bridge Mall Expansion. Lead Design Architect for Simon Properties project in Lawrence Township, New Jersey. Designed a proposed 600,000 sq. ft. project to add Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom as tennants, along with as many as 100 new stores and restaurants, doubling the size of an existing mall and creating a gross leasable area of 1,099,000 sq. ft.

While at Ai Group, I worked on the design and production of high rise residential towers, hotels and misc. commercial projects. Responsible for complex layout of hospitality “Tent Village’ for approximately 50 top Olympic sponsors at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games - Atlanta GA. Required ongoing dialogue with each sponsor for needs assessment and allowing for special accommodations. Successful completion of project still ranks as one of my top professional accomplishments

Project Architect for the Johnson Studio, a small boutique design firm that is nationally recognized for producing award winning, unique and extraordinary restaurants. While at the Johnson Studio, I learned all aspects of design services from conceptual development, architecture / interior design, to lighting design, to furnishings and material purchasing.
