I have the responsibility and pleasure to be appointed to manage the Company's capital department (in an Interim Position ) through the improvement and investment period over the next few years. The planned and current projects are multidiscipline from process to utilities to building works. Average spend is $15M per annum. The position builds on my position as Consultant Senior Project Manager at the plant but with more local responsibility and accountability.

On a consultancy basis via D B Lloyd Ltd, managing a $50Million portfolio of Energy, Infra Structure and Special Chemical Process Projects for an International "Complex Matrix" organised Company. Currently 65% through this program which is multidiscipline including New Buildings, Steam Turbine, Generator, 10KV infrastructure replacement, Low Voltage infrastructure replacement, Complete Sewer replacement and Confidential $16M chemical process.Considerable experience of dealing with Indian Equipment suppliers with many visits to India. Also major dealings with suppliers in Europe and America

Our Customers include Kelloggs, WPS CEL Ltd, Cabot Corporation, Dairy Crest, Moody Plc, Framptons, Greencore, Treasure Transport,Robert Wiseman Dairies, Arla Foods and many more. My consultancy services were offered through D B Lloyd Ltd.

A 12 month interim role to develop and improve the company's Service Enginering Department. This was a successful assignment including recruting new engineers and removing poor performers, Introducing personal development plans, training new and existing engineers. Introducing new services and reporting to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.

Managing Director of Hygienic Systems until the company was sold in March 2001. A project Engineering ( turnkey) and Service Engineering Company. Main Achievements - Developed the company from 300K to 3M ( Sterling) Turnover. Started Service Company, Introduced Iso 9000, led a Management Buyout, Led the sale of the company in March 2001. Left in June 2001 at the request of the new owners.

Project Engineered a large Chemical Tank Farm in Derbyshire, then a Chemical ( Detergent Manufacturing plant) in Scotland. Then joined the sales division to provide enginering support for the application of the Company's chemicals in UK Food and Beverage Producers. This is where I gained my valuable selling experience.

Mechanical Engineer on a variety of Oil Refinery small projects.

First career position after University. Although a junior position, was given considerable responsibilities and completed Site built Tar Tank, Complete Laboratory Refurbishment, First use of Foamglas on a Distillation column, removal of asbestos and numerous process projects - usually very dirty ones! This was a very happy job - but it was a time of business in the UK contracting and closing much of its manufacturing capability. A very sad time.
