PEAK is a national staffing agency, specializing in the placement of engineering related personnel on a direct, contract to direct, and contract basis. My role as a Staffing Manager has included the following daily tasks:• Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools. • Identify candidates whose skills are appropriate for an active job requirement. This is done through strong networking skills, interaction with special interest groups, job postings, resume searches and other recruiting methods.• Explain contract and direct employment to candidates, addressing concerns and determining desired geographic location(s), hourly rate or salary requirements and availability of each individual.• Qualify potential employees by completing thorough reference checks and engaging in probing conversations regarding previous experience and education.• Submit resumes of candidates to client for review and maintain contact with applicant and client.• Coordinate interviews, negotiate rates and use closing techniques to complete the sales cycle.• Manage contract employees while on assignment.• Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary. • Continuously monitoring and building an active “quality list” of candidates that fit within the niche focus.• Prioritization of job requirements.• Work with Account Managers to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and to assess clients’ staffing requirements. • Utilized computer programs: Bullhorn, Vurv/Recuitmax Datbase, MS Word, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, MS Excel.• Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.

As a Recruiter II, I: • Source candidates in order to build a pipeline for open positions. • Complete training on recruiting strategies to place qualified candidates into appropriate opportunities. • Start developing recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools. • Continuously monitoring and building an active “quality list” of candidates that fit within the niche focus.• Begin actively recruiting for open positions and start learning how to manage contract employees.• Build relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals as well as sales leads.• Utilized computer programs: Bullhorn, Vurv/Recuitmax Datbase, MS Word, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, MS Excel.
