My dream of owning my own graphic design business came a little early due to being downsized by Meijer, Inc. Now I've been able provide diverse graphic design materials for clients all over the map. We specialize in large and small projects. And we've gained a reputation for being knowledgeable problem solvers who are very easy to work with. We encourage collaboration with our clients because it's their project and we want them to be happy with the results.

I taught two classes at Kendall each semester. Mainly, an introductory class for Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, and a class about Design and Color theories. I really enjoyed the opportunity to help hundreds of students learn how to use Adobe apps, plus expand their design and color understanding.

I worked for Meijer in the Advertising, Marketing, and Package design departments until down-sizing initiatives were executed, with the package design department being outsourced.My first 4.5 years were in one of the stores while I attended Kendall College of Art & Design. The remaining years were a great experience with different opportunities to grow as a graphic designer. I learned a lot and experienced diverse projects from advertising to instore media to packaging to company trade show materials. Now I own my own business and it's benefitted greatly from my Meijer experience.
