As the Enterprise Architect for Paymark, a financial services company focused on card payment and e-commerce products, I was accountable for the implementation of the Enterprise Architecture practise with the strategic goal of transforming the company from a utility provider into a Digital Enterprise.Leading a team of 5 Solution, Process, Data & Integration Architects, I was responsible for all architecture deliverables across the IT spectrum of hardware, software, integration, business intelligence, cloud computing and mobility.During this time I co-created the IT strategy and associated technology roadmaps, blueprints and budgets. I also defined the high level architecture for all new technology platforms required to support a digital enterprise and led the process architects in defining business process macro models, customer journeys and business process mapping while ensuring these were aligned to applications, data and technology. Our ability to provide innovative and agile architectures in a constantly disruptive environment was a great achievement.

In a competitive, constantly changing environment, the ability to provide innovative and agile architectures was vital and this was achieved. A highlight for me was being invited to present the value of information and technologies to the parcel delivery industry at the Microsoft BI conference.

This resulted in Bytes being awarded technology partner of the year and achieving Gold Partner Status.
