Creative lead at this marketing communications agency; clients include Argos, BrightHouse, Civil Aviation Authority, QinetiQ, University of Hertfordshire, Anglia Ruskin University and Penguin Random House, to name a few. For the past 12 years I have led a small creative team to punch way above its weight in the innovative creation of corporate and careers websites, employer branding and talent attraction campaigns across print and digital. I’ve increasingly taken on a more client-facing role, working closely with the client services team to generate new business and maintain existing client relationships. I’m at the forefront of ensuring we keep up with current digital trends - even going on an html course so I could best understand how to work with web developers.

This was a company founded by four like-minded creatives who wanted to offer a suite of creative services to existing agencies. We worked with McCann Eriksson and JWT on campaigns for PwC, University of East London and KPMG, among others. We were approached directly by Argos and decided to bring in 360 as a business partner on the project; they were so impressed, they bought us out.

Shoreditch, London

My agency life began when I was approached to work in the studio at this creative recruitment advertising agency in Shoreditch. Brought in to act as a bridge between the artworking studio and the creative department, I worked on creative advertising and print designs for Logica, Guinness and REED personnel. Promoted to studio manager in 1997.

Kentish Town, London

Wanting to get back into design after my newspaper diversion, I moved to a small graphic design company based in Kentish Town. Working for a variety of clients including The Continuity Company and The Sure Group, I worked on promotional and POS material for Canon and BBC 5 Live among others.

Holborn, London

Attracted by the bright lights of London, I moved to MGN. Working as an artworker on The Sunday Mirror, The People and The Mirror, my best claim to fame was being chosen to work in secrecy on the Sarah Ferguson toe-sucking exclusive!

St Ives, Cambs

My graphic design education began in this small Cambridgeshire based design firm and, right from the start, I had a client-facing role. As an apprentice graphic designer I worked on everything from pharmaceutical packaging for MSD to perfume packaging for Chantilly and from hit record sleeves to beauty products. Promoted to studio manager in 1988.
