I started my time in the automotive industry back in 2000 as one of the founders of e-GoodManners Ltd, the market-leading "Sales Lead Management" system. Developed specifically for the automotive retail industry, I was instrumental in the migration of the product into new markets including South Africa, Australia, and the Middle East helping it become an established product and brand. The business was later acquired by COX Automotive (Manheim) in 2010.In 2012 I started enquiryMAX Ltd, a more advanced enquiry management system introducing a mobile customer capture process, including part exchange appraisals using tablets, a first in the industry. Within 8 years the company grew to be the industry-leading solution, used in over 1,000 franchised retailers in the UK and Ireland, including every JLR retail business. In 2021 the business was acquired by Keyloop (Francisco Partners PE Firm).In 2018 I formed a new business, MAD Devs Ltd with a couple of my key colleagues from enquiryMAX. We started development on two new innovative solutions for the automotive industry, iTrackLEADS and iStoreDOCS, a lead aggregator and digital document storage solution. They form an important part of the emerging digital customer journey at key stages of the sales process. We have seen an amazing take-up of the solutions with over 800 retailers in the UK adopting the solutions into their businesses.
