Having worked as an Chartered Architect for the last 20 years, David decided in 2015 to turn his passion for the outdoors into his job!Having volunteered for 4 years with Venture Scotland, a charity who work with vulnerable young adults on a year long personal development programme based in the outdoors, an opportunity arose for a complete career change from Architecture and to take up the role of Edinburgh Programme Manager, running the charities Edinburgh based activities from their Norton Park premises.Recently David was asked to take on the role of CEO and is looking forward to the challenges of ensuring the very best outcomes for the young people the charity engages with.
