At F.A.C.T. I was a media point-person in the daily operations at the Fitchburg, WI public access station. I generated story ideas for content then coordinated, shot, narrated, and edited those pieces for air. Organization and follow-through was key as many of our stories involved interviewing town officials, covering ribbon-cuttings and other events requiring clearance, advance notice, and punctuality. In addition, I served as director for live tapings of public meetings and court sessions coordinating camera people, generating titles, and editing and scheduling the final product. I essentially did anything that needed doing and figured out how to do it if I did not know. I enjoyed the daily challenge and innovation it required. Responsibilities:. Tape public meetings and court, direct cameras for live productions. Generate, plan, and create stories and follow-through on ideas for content. Edit, narrate, and add graphics to video pieces. Schedule programs and dub tapes for air. Coordinate with town officials and organize interviews and meetings
