Skills - CoFounder | Strategy | Execution | Scaling | Sales | Product Dev | Operations & Commercialisation | ConsultingCareer focus - helping smart businesses build, execute and scale their renewable energy and emission reduction ambitions. Overview - I am a commercially experienced Business, IT, Sustainability and Clean-tech executive, with a breadth of roles and success in large corporate to start-ups. These range from business development to commercialisation of products and services in innovative, fast-growth ventures to consulting to start-ups on scaling and growth strategies. Background - My career shifted tracks in 2007 from IT to the defining issues of our time - climate change and ecosystem degradation. I've since helped develop business models and lead the execution of strategy for carbon auditing, water management, energy efficiency, ESCO, solar pv and recently, an energy storage technology solution provider. My future focus includes #circularity , #uncoupling , #degrowth and #rewilding models. Highlights - leading bids for multi-million dollar Energy and Water Efficiency Retrofit projects, developing ESCO sales models and channels, commercialising and implemented complex multi-market solutions, facilitating channels for small scale Solar PV and battery projects plus exploring micro and smart grid concepts (VPN, VPP, PPA, DR); energy control and management systems; smart home and EV applications etc. Motivations - love to work with focused and inspired teams to create, grow or transform businesses and communities, in the pursuit of goals with meaning, purpose and the potential for change at scale. I seek to incorporate decentralized, decarbonized and digitized systems thinking by working with and mentoring to local start-ups in emerging and established markets. • Green Caravan
    Coo
Green Caravan Jul 2022 - Present
Chief Operating Officer responsible for the development and delivery of Europe's first fossil fuel free EV charging hub concept. One of a dedicated team of pragmatic, experienced and sustainability focused green entrepreneurs, focused on the execution of EV charging services and solutions to enable low emissions and cost effective charging from proven technologies to private and commercial car, truck and fleet users. Our focus: Electricity generation infrastructure in most countries around the World today is a majority of fossil fuel (coal, oil, natural gas) assets and a growing mix of renewable generation (sun, wind, hydro, nuclear, geothermal, biomass). The goal of stationary energy transition strategies is to achieve a fossil-free electricity generation and supply network by 2050. Until then, when charging your EV on the road or at work, the fossil-free share of the electricity you consume will mostly depend on the state of the energy grid, market or economic forces, the weather or even personal circumstances (eg where you live and what you can access). Our mission: to accelerate the transition to low or zero carbon and fossil fuel electricity when charging your EV at work or on the road, TODAY. Rather than wait for large scale renewable projects to develop and the constrained energy transmission grid to catch up, we are building Europe's first fossil-free EV charging infrastructure. Our aim is to execute our concept and roll-out our first sites in The Netherlands in 2023 to service the growing commercial demand for low emissions transport and more climate friendly options when driving your own vehicle or work vehicle (car, van or truck).
