Contract - Environmental Health and Safety Manager - major refurbishment project including technical fit out of new process equipment undertaken at the live Dairy Crest food factory in Kirkby. Assist the project team to achieve established goals of completion with zero disruption to Client manufacturing processes and also to be incident and injury free. Project incorporates the largest flat to pitched roof conversion in Europe, significant internal refurbishment and fit out of new process equipment (butter plant). Assist and advise the site team to manage; demolition, work on systems involving LV and HV including activity in close proximity to a pylon and overhead power lines. System break-ins include electrical, Ammonia, Glycol, high pressure steam, sprinkler etc. Works undertaken also include licensed Asbestos removal, dealing with lead based products, drainage works with discharges at eighty degrees centigrade containing caustic chemicals.

Undertake the role of an Environmental, Safety and Health Consultant, primarily for clients operating within the construction industry sector. Undertake major accident investigation and authoritative reporting for legal practices and clients assisting to defend claims and prosecution.Write and develop environmental health and safety policies, assist clients with CHAS and Building Confidence (Achilles) accreditations. Develop and run training courses including IOSH programmes ranging from Directing Safely to Working Safely and CITB courses for managers, supervisors and behavioral safety.
