I created this yardwork business in my hometown of Mishawaka, Indiana in order to give high school students the chance to work for more than minimum wage, while also gaining essential social skills. By creating the supervisor position, I gave select students the chance to gain even more leadership skills. Overall, I advertised, facilitated all customer contact, organized schedules, worked in the field, and controlled finances.

Traveled around the state of Ohio and met with mayors, representatives, non-profit organization presidents, and many others with a liaison to Governor John Kasich.

Worked as a part of the live sound team at the annual Gear Fest, which included setting up equipment needed for performances and presentations, controlling the soundboard, working the lights, and acting as a liaison between the artists and members of the sound team. Assisted in setting up the auditorium stage for sales meetings and performances and the studios for recording sessions.Set up multiple recording sessions for clients, which included micing instruments, wiring hardware, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment for the producers.

Managed all online marketing, including Facebook, Twitter, and the website to ensure that Bernardo’s appealed to all intended audiences.Designed all advertising, including magazine and newspaper entries, and fashion show exhibits to promote the business at trade shows.Developed a fully functional online store for the Bernardo’s website to give customers alternative purchasing options.Photographed and edited over 400 photographs of merchandise for the online store to create uniformity among items and promote sales.
