Based in Brussels since 1991, I am a partner and the co head of Freshfields global antitrust, competition and trade practice. I am a UK solicitor and speak fluent French. My practice is focused on EU competition issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, collaborative and other horizontal and vertical arrangements, cartel investigations and public procurement law. My experience covers a variety of industry sectors including chemicals, consumer products and retail, energy and natural resources, financial institutions, healthcare, infrastructure and transport and private equity. I have recently advised on the EU competition aspects of a number of high profile mergers both within Europe and internationally. I have also guided a number of clients through complex multi-jurisdictional cartel investigations, the challenges of market liberalisation and on a variety of public procurement matters including procurement structuring and compliance.
