About David Brosius
My dad was a technical writer, and a photographer, among other things, so I was shooting and darkroom processing 35mm black & white film when I was barely a teenager. Most of my work is as a Digital Cinematographer, or DP using my 4K Digital Cinema camera, or working as a gaffer/lighting director, although I also do edit video and audio, graphics, etc. as the need arises. I usually shoot 4K Log with my own Sony FS7m2, Sony A7S 35mm full-frame 4K camera and a Sony FS700 4K Digital Cinema and high-speed camera, with a Shogun Inferno 4K recorder, or with rented cameras, such as a RED, Sony, or Canon Digital Cinema cameras. I have lots of extras: jibs, stabilizers, doorway dolly, various sliders, 4K drone, 4K action cam) I also use my lighting skills as a gaffer, with or without gear, and have over 30 LED/tungsten/daylight lights, overheads, reflectors and grip gear with a well-equipped 3/4 ton van package. I also edit in Premiere Pro and use Photoshop and After Effects. My first experience with bleeding-edge technology!
