Adapted this method to deliver the herpes simplex virus genome cloned in yeast into mammalian cells to produce infectious virus, creating a novel reverse genetics system- Assisted in the development of DNA assembly methods responsible for rapidly synthesizing influenza seeds which was utilized in the influenza vaccine produced by Novartis.
