Staff Product Development Engineer
Developing medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. Working on procedure-enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, as well as gastrointestinal health, gynecology, and surgical oncology.Responsibilities on product development projects conducting various assignments involving a specific phase of an engineering project, including design, development and testing for new products as well as IQ/OQ/PQ validations for equipment on assembly lines. Determines objectives and planning schedules, conducts assignments encompassing entire projects and coordinates activities with internal and external customers. Applies comprehensive and diverse knowledge of engineering principles to a broad range of assignments.
