About David Bruskin
As a motion picture story analyst, I read over 10,000 screenplays, novels, manuscripts and plays. Writing three to four pages per day of synopses and analytical comments honed my proofreading and copyediting skills to a fine edge. I have always been obsessive about correct grammar, punctuation and spelling.By taking apart so many stories, I developed a narrative sense that I use to figure out how well a story works or why it doesn't. This also comes in handy if I need to extract a story with emotional appeal from facts and data that don't seem to be "story material."Finally, I enjoy the hunt for just the right words and rhythm to craft an idea, emotion or call to action, whether for a story, speech, article, ad, promotion or blog.
