David represents a wide variety of clients over a broad spectrum of financing structures. On the lender side, he represents financial institutions, asset-based lenders and mezzanine lenders. When structuring transactions using NMTCs, David represents Leverage Lenders and Community Development Entities (CDEs). On the borrower side, David represents manufacturers, technology companies, health care providers, real estate developers and other businesses and, in NMTC financings, he represents Qualified Active Low-Income Community Businesses (QALICBs).In the public finance area, David represents issuers, conduit borrowers, underwriters and lenders. He frequently acts as bond or transaction counsel in connection with tax-exempt and taxable financings, with a special emphasis on combining NMTCs and tax-exempt bonds.David further assists his clients in anticipating and addressing other business-related issues. Mindful of the broader business context, David combines his legal expertise with an awareness of the demands and challenges his clients face.
