Reporting to the Global CIO, the CIO Office delivers services across the entire IT organization. The Office manages and controls the IT budget, invoices, and expenses. It also encompasses the IT PMO, IT Procurement & Vendor Management Office functions.Additionally, the Office supports the CIO in developing and managing the IT strategy, overseeing internal IT innovation, and facilitating the internal and external communication of successfully launched projects.

Reporting to the CIO, the "IT Strategy, Innovation & Vendor Operations Manager" provides the corporate technological vision and direction to meet and support the company’s strategic and operational goals. This position must understand the latest concepts in Technology at a broad level and he's also responsible for developing and keeping up-to-date corporate long-term IT strategy and plans including applications, vendors, policies, procedures and standards, with a focus on integrating technology into company operations to increase effectiveness and efficiency. The person is also responsible to perform combination of contract, performance or relationship management with IT vendors (hardware, software, consulting, application development and other IT services). The "IT SI & VEOM" acts as a mediator for internal conflicts regarding budgets, projects, and other issues related to IT vendor management. He acts as a business agent for an IT organization to negotiate pricing and to determine contract terms and conditions.Finally, the "IT Strategy, Innovation & VEOM" will be responsible to drive and ensure IT organization transformation, the innovation in IT in connection with business, and to design / prepare IT communication materials aimed to either IT, business or CxO board and governance committees.

Based on a strong understanding of business processes, IT operating model and project management best practices, I’m driving end-to-end delivery of IT change initiatives and solutions within the Territory. In close collaboration with regional/global IT delivery teams and Territory business teams, I’m ensuring that global and regional IT change initiatives land properly in the Territory, Commercial Units and countries.I’m ensuring the sustainability and support of the local solutions through their lifecycle, their embedment into Syngenta IT landscape and operating model.Reporting to EAME IS Head, I’m responsible for the delivery of all Syngenta integrated end-to-end IT services in the territory.
