I was attached to the BI project during most of 2014 as a consultant, but moved into the team officially in January 2015.I am part of a small team of back and front-end developers. We use Kanban agile methodology to manage tasks contributing to the ongoing development of Business Intelligence solutions based on SQL Server 2016, Microsoft Analysis Services, Tableau and Power BI.This role involves:Creating sophisticated dashboards and visualisations in Tableau and Power BIBuilding internal reports in Excel using MDX/DAX queries to retrieve data from Analysis Services and writing VBA to enhance their functionalityGathering, interpreting and prioritising users’ BI requirementsTraining and supporting users employing OLAP Pivot tables, Tableau and Power BI to analyse and use dataPresenting Tradedoubler’s Tableau Server-based reporting platform to clients and gathering their requirements

My achievements includedSenior Executive Management ReportingCreating a suite of reports enabling the CEO and CFO to monitor and review the performance of the groupStreamlining reporting and Finance processes. This involved consulting on business requirements, process mapping and analysis, developing solutions, testing, implementation and trainingOperational ReportingDevelopment of a custom Ribbon menu and many solutions in Excel and Access that automate the generation of reports and the completion of repetitive tasks. These solutions are used frequently by over 250 colleagues in several countries. They have saved (and save) many thousands of hours and minimise human error.The development of highly-customized and automated reports for a range of clientsCreating databases and dashboards to track and monitor revenue streams
