Profile bio

About David Cahn

I study Politics at Brandeis, where I research community living policy at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy. I’m also interested in disability employment policy, disability voting rights/political participation, and SSI reform. At Brandeis, I champion disability inclusion. Beyond Lurie, I advocate before University leadership for disability-inclusive campus planning while mobilizing capital to address immediate accessibility needs. I also counsel disabled students navigating campus inaccessibility and co-lead Brandeis’ disability affinity group, where disability identity is embraced and culture celebrated. Off campus, I further my commitment to disability rights as an accessibility litigation intern for the Parker Law Group. Concurrently, I’m pursuing ADA Coordinator certification. After graduation, I hope to leverage legal and policy avenues to realize a more dignified, inclusive existence for disabled people.
