In the process helped build a Node.js-based platform that other CBS Interactive properties started developing on (Smartplanet Mobile, etc).I was responsible for implementing much of the frontend, which included building a highly performant image/content carousel completely from scratch. Much of this was built with performance and fast-loading pages as a primary concern, and this became very much a reality with the help of a highly optimized frontend coupled with a very responsive Node.js-powered backend. -
