Lead developer for a semantics-based POC. Client: a smaller company in the healthcare space. Through a small retainer contract, I provide answers to questions about how best to use MarkLogic. Building MarkLogic REST API extensions; scripting tests of XQuery code; optimizing queries; implementing custom NiFi processor; configuring NiFi flows. Earned MarkLogic 9 Developer certification in August 2019.

Spring 2018, Fall 2018: Teach the graduate Database Systems course. Updated the course materials to include NoSQL, along with relational databases. Fall 2017: Teach the undergraduate Data Structures and Algorithms course.

Established a new MarkLogic Labs group building tools on top of the core MarkLogic Server, focusing on rapid, iterative development; close collaboration with the field; providing feedback to Engineering; and ensuring that the projects are in line with company direction.
